Fridays with Phil: Berlin Wall at Union Station Kansas City
This episode of Fridays with Phil was recorded in February when Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota presented Union Station Kansas City with ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds to expand their programs for kids and seniors in our community. Thanks to the ARPA funds allocated by Jackson County, seniors have the opportunity to experience the Berlin Wall - A World Divided exhibit for free. The Berlin Wall exhibit is open now at Union Station, which is the first stop on its North American tour.

This week on Fridays with Phil, Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota strolled down to 18th & Vine to check out the new streetscape improvements in the historic Jazz District. Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota travels back in time to before the creation of Jackson County this week when he visits Fort Osage National Historic Landmark to preview Fun on the Bluff, a family friendly event this weekend at Fort Osage. Fridays with Phil: Halftime Press Conference
Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota and members of the Jackson County Legislature including Chairman Manny Abarca, Vice Chairman Sean Smith, 2nd District At-Large Legislator Donna Peyton, and 2nd District Legislator Venessa Huskey delivered a "half-time report" on reforms to Jackson County government seven months into the County Executive's term and pledged continued progress in good governance to the citizens of Jackson County.

Pickleball is Coming to Jackson County Parks!
Today Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota signed Ordinance 6078 into law, which will bring a new pickleball complex to Fleming Park at Lake Jacomo. These will be the first pickleball courts in Jackson County's parks, and the recreational opportunities will be a great amenity for Jackson County residents.
